The IEEE Brain Initiative Workshop on Advanced NeuroTechnologies, co-located with the IEEE Technology Time Machine 2018, is coming to San Diego on 1-2 November 2018. With an increasing interest and need in the development and use of advanced technologies to monitor and control brain activities to treat neurological diseases, it is essential to stay up-to-date on research and technological advances, This workshop will highlight the development of novel technological innovations, covering both invasive and non-invasive approaches, which provide precise and consistent therapy in a controlled and rigorous manner, track quantitatively the therapy related improvement and treat many subjects simultaneously, with multiple robots under the supervision of just one or two therapists. In addition, this workshop will focus on translational neural engineering as well as career and entrepreneurial opportunities in this field. Through keynotes, presentations and riveting discussions, attendees will leave with knowledge on translational neural engineering and neurotechnology, invasive and non-invasive approaches for studying brain function, and much more.
