Dr. Yaprak Tavman is a Lecturer in Economics at the University of York. She is also a member of the university's Learning and Teaching Forum Committee, a member of the Social Sciences Faculty Futures Group and the departmental Teaching and Learning in Economics (TELE) cluster lead. She has designed and delivered modules from 1st year BSc through to MSc at three different universities. Her areas of interest in economics education include active learning, technology-enhanced teaching, and diversity and inclusion. She regularly works in partnership with students for different departmental initiatives, such as introducing problem-based learning to economics, and Diversifying and Decolonising the Curriculum.
