ZEW Mannheim is pleased to announce that the annual ZEW Public Finance Conference will take place in Mannheim on 4 and 5 May 2023. This year’s edition focusses on the challenges of fiscal policy-making in times of crises.
The ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research is pleased to announce the call for papers for the 2023 ZEW Public Finance Conference. The conference will take place on 4 and 5 May 2023. We meet in person in Mannheim, Germany.
The annual conference covers all fields of public economics. This year’s keynote lectures will be given by Rüdiger Bachmann (University of Notre Dame) and Sarah Zubairy (Texas A&M University), and will focus on the challenges of fiscal policy-making in the various crisis environments such as the pandemic or the energy crisis.
Both empirical and theoretical papers are welcome, including completed papers and papers in progress. We particularly encourage the submission of papers related to the focus topic. Please submit your paper via the conference management website no later than 17 February 2023. No conference fee will be charged for participants presenting a paper.
