ForenSoc'27 is an international hybrid academic conference taking place on 5-7 February 2027 in Istanbul, Türkiye, and online. Organized by the Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences and co-organized by Istanbul Medipol University, it brings together researchers and practitioners from forensic sciences, criminology, psychology, sociology, law, policing, communication, human rights, child protection, and related disciplines. Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations. The abstract submission deadline is 13 November 2026.
ForenSoc'27 - International Forensic Social Sciences Conference will take place on 5-7 February 2027 at Istanbul Medipol University in Istanbul, Türkiye, with both onsite and online participation.
The conference is organized by the Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences (BAFS) and co-organized by Istanbul Medipol University. It brings together researchers, academics, practitioners, professionals, and students from forensic sciences, criminology, psychology, sociology, law, medicine, policing, communication, media studies, child protection, human rights, and related disciplines.
The scientific programme will explore the intersections between forensic sciences, society, justice, institutions, and human behaviour. Topics include crime and justice, victimization and trauma, forensic psychology and mental health, law and human rights, children and families, policing, media and crime, communication, digital society, and emerging technological challenges.
Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations.
