Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO)

The Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) was established in 1957 in San Jose, Costa Rica as an international organization dedicated to the study, research, and education of social sciences. FLACSO consists of 18 members states and has implemented reputable academic activities in 13 nations within the Caribbean and Latin America.  Furthermore, FLACSO has trained more than 10,000 educators, scientists, and professionals in disciplines concerning social sciences.
