Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP)聽was established in聽Riga at the
University of Latvia. The聽ISSP 聽focuses its efforts on further
understanding and聽researching solid state physics, innovation policy, and
other related disciplines of study. The ISSP is structured into
seven聽research divisions and laboratories concerning photonics materials,
semiconductor materials, radiation physics, electronic engineering, and
ferroelectrics.聽
