The University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) was established in 1891 and is one of America's finest Public Ivy universities. UCSB is organized into five diverse schools and colleges such as the College of Engineering, the College of Creative Studies, and the Bren School of Environment Science and Management. The university is a comprehensive doctoral university that was ranked 11th in all public universities by U.S. News & World Report in 2014.
