The University of Alberta was founded in 1908 as a public research university located in Alberta, Canada. The university is comprised of twenty faculties and department with more than 39,000 bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students enrolled in full time courses. The Faculty of Business is one of the top departments at the University of Alberta due to its social and economic impact in Canada. Furthermore, Times Higher Education World University Rankings has ranked the academic institution as a top 100 university worldwide, and among the best five universities in the country.
