National Polytechnic Institute

Established in Mexico in 1936, the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) is now considered to be the most prestigious public technological higher education center in the country. IPN strives to support Mexico's industrialization and development processes, and also provides educational training to numerous sectors. IPN focuses on activities regarding technology transfer and development, as well as production and servicing the national community. More than 166,700 students are currently enrolled in the institute.
