The Madurai Kamaraj University was established in Madurai, India in 1966 as a
public academic institution. The Madurai Kamaraj University offers
intensive research and education courses from its 18 schools and 72 scholarly
departments. Approximately 130,000 Indian and international students are
enrolled at the university, and its 109 affiliated colleges, on a full time
basis.Â
