Hawassa University

Hawassa University was established in 1999 as a public academic institution in Hawassa, Ethiopia. The university has six main colleges which focus on social sciences, law, agriculture, business and economics, medicine, and sciences. Hawassa University has also created a nationally recognized Institute of Technology which draws researchers and scholars from numerous countries in Africa.
