The Department of Economics at the Johannes Kepler University Linz was
founded in 1965 as part of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Social
Sciences. The Department offers courses to undergraduate, graduate and
doctoral students, and is well known throughout Europe due to its extensive
research regarding economics, finance, and business.
