Poverty Reduction, Equity and Growth Network (PEGNet) was established in 2005
as a joint initiative between the聽German Ministry of Economic Development
and Cooperation and the聽Kiel Institute for World Economics. PEGNet works
to bring researchers together in order to foster cooperation and ideas
concerning poverty, inequality, and growth. The initiative also hosts
international conferences, seminars, joint programs, and provides pertinent
policy advice.聽
