Faculty of Economics and Management, Catholic University of the North

Founded in 1982 it develops study programs in the fields of economics, management, accountacy, management information and control. Apart from that, it develops education programs for workers and professionals who are not specilaized in the faculty. As a result, more people has reached a level of education in the fields of management and economics. Moroever the development of master programs for professionals in executive positions of regional enterprises gives updated knowledge of the markets to the community. Finally, masters in Accountancy and Commercial Engineering were created as an answer to the current needs of the laboral market. Also the faculty focuses efforts to develop and execute research about the current problems of the region. 3 Centres are responsible for further studies in the field of human development, communication and technology for the enterprises, entrepreneurship and startup companies in Chile.
