University of Ljubljana - Chair for agricultural economics, policy and law, Department of Animal Science, Biotechnical Faculty

The University of Ljubljana implements and promotes basic, applied and developmental research and is pursuing excellence and the highest quality in majority of scientific fields and art. The Biotechnical faculty is one of the largest members of the University, primarily involved in the academic education and research in the field of applied natural science. However, it includes also a relatively small, but highly committed research group at the Chair for agricultural economics, policy and law. Members of the team are involved in the different programes within the Biotechnical faculty and elsewhere with courses on agricultural economics, agricultural policy, farm management, entrepreneurship, agrifood marketing, new food product development, among others. With their expertise the members participate in noumerous national and international research projects, publish their work in scientific journals and consult governments, institutions and companies.
