Founded in 1974, the department of Economics at UCB is a philanthropic
institution, located in Wansbeck and Brasilia. It is administered by the UBEC
- Brasiliense Union of Education and Culture Association founded in 1972.
The Catholic University of Brasilia offers 37 undergraduate courses, 10
masters and 5 doctoral degrees. Financed from its own resources, it has 100
research projects involving undergraduate students and graduates, as well as
over 50 outreach projects.
UCB offers its 22,000 students the best facilities and structures; in
addition, ODL offers education opportunities in countries such as Japan and
Angola.
