Thanks to cooperation with all key peronnel within the Group, we can provide our customers full service in Austria – from building construction and civil engineering through to infrastructure construction and environmental engineering. Employees of PORR in Austria also implement large tunnelling and railway construction projects abroad.

Digitalisation: PORR is right on track for paperless construction sites.

Digitalisation is one of the most important topics in the construction industry. PORR has been working intensively for many years on the topics of the future such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), paperless construction sites and the new world of work. The reason for this is plain to see: new technologies allow us to realise construction projects more quickly, more efficiently, more cost-effectively and, above all, more transparently. 
 
Under the motto Roadmap 2020 a comprehensive project for process optimisation is currently under way within the PORR Group. In future, all processes in PORR will be to a large extent digitalised, for the most part paperless and thus more efficient. In this way we can make use of our resources in a way targeted even more to our core Business.

This is why PORR works closely withpartners from the worlds of science and research on all of its home markets. Here we focus on long-term cooperation. Most often we are involved in multiyear projects for developing complex, technical processes in civil and structural engineering as well as for conserving resources.
