Adolfo Ibañez University

With over half a century of tradition, the Adolfo Ibañez University (AIU) has been systematic in pursuing its mission: to educate young adults in the sciences so that they may contribute productively to society. It is an academic community, created in 1953 by the Adolfo Ibáñez Foundation. Constituted as university in 1988, the university has more than 9,000 students enrolled in bachelor and graduate programms. Adolfo Ibañez University has campuses in Santiago, Viña del Mar and Miami and offers education and research courses in the fields of Business, Arts and Humanities, Engineering, Law and Social Sciences.  Campus Viña del Mar is the newest addition to AIU  with a great view of the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful city called “garden city”. Campus Santiago is located in the south-east area of Santiago, sprawling over nearly 250 acres at the foothills of the Andes. The School of Management, is located in Miami, Florida. This Campus is dedicated mainly to executive education programs for latinoamerican’s businessman.  The main purpose of the AIU is to offer education based on freedom and personal responsibility, that allow students to develop their intectual and human potential. Moreover, AIU gives a professional education with high academic standards that contributes to expand the knowledge boundaries through research and knowledge transference.   parq001
