American Academy of Ophthalmology

The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) was established in 1896 in San Francisco as a professional association for medial ophthalmologists. AAO has more than 7,000 members abroad and approximately 90 percent of all practicing ophthalmologists in America have obtained membership with AAO over the years.
