American University

The American University (AU) is a private liberal arts institution located in Washington D.C., United States. AU was chartered in February, 1983 and over 12,000 undergraduate and graduate students are currently enrolled. The research based university was also named the "Most Politically Active School in the Nation" by the Princeton Review on three different occurrences. AU is known for promoting international relations and understanding, and integrates these ideas into its six unique schools.
