Carl von Ossietzky, University of Oldenburg

The institution underlines responsibility towards society and the role of science in public discourse. Founded in 1973, it is a young university that has contributed to the economic and cultural advancement of Germany. It cooperates with the University of Bremen in terms os science and research.  The aim of the university is to combine and enhance scientific excellence and teaching for the coming years. It counts already with interdisciplinary research and it promotes young researchers and their education.
