Center for American Progress

The Center for American Progress was established in 2003 as an independent public policy think tank based in Washington, D.C. The Center for American Progress focuses on liberal economic and social issues, and is dedicated to improving the wellbeing of Americans through progressive research, programs, and actions. Issues regarding economic growth, health care, education, national security, and immigration are frequently addressed.
