Center for Finance and Development, Tsinghua University

The Center for Finance and Development, established under National Institute of Financial Research, Tsinghua University is dedicated to studying practical issues related to macroeconomy and finance and to providing recommendations for economic and financial policy makers. Research priorities of the Center for the next few years include, among others, macroeconomics, systemic financial risks, monetary policy framework, and investment regime in the Belt and Road. In addition to long-term themes, the Center also works with government agencies, regulators and financial institutions on research projects, and supports the work of People’s Bank of China (PBC). The Center is led by Dr. Ma Jun, member of PBC’s monetary policy committee and former Chief Economist at the Research Bureau of the PBC.
