The Center for Research and Teaching of Economics (CIDE) was established in
1974 in Mexico City as a center for the understanding, research, and teaching
of social sciences and economics. CIDE focuses on six academic disciplines
concerning legal and political studies, history, public administration,
international studies, and economics. CIDE also provides intensive
training to professionals and other interested individuals.Â
