The Furtwangen University of Applied Sciences, or The Hochschule Furtwangen
University (HFU), is a public German university that was founded in 1850.
There are currently ten faculties at the university, as well as special
services available for advanced learning. One of the most important field of
studies in HFU is the SMART Systems MicroEngineering program for
students. Furtwangen University promotes learning through
application-oriented research and support.Â
