In 1987 Gaziantep University was established in Gaziantep, Turkey as a
public state research institution. More than 20,800 undergraduate, graduate,
doctoral, and executive students are enrolled in the 10 faculties and 22
departments at the university. Studies regarding dentistry, architecture,
economics, fine arts, and health sciences are among the most reputed at the
Turkish institution.
