Inter-American Development Bank

The Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) was established in 1959 in Washington, D.C. The IADB works to provide development financing for the Caribbean and Latin America. IADB also aims to progress social and economic development, as well regional integration by lending funds to government agencies and state corporations. Furthermore, the main official languages of IADB are Spanish, French, English, and Portuguese.
