In 1987 the Interuniversity Center for Econometrics (CIdeE) was established
in Italy to support, promote and generate valuable research, and teaching
methods, concerning the field of Econometrics for scholars. The CIdE hosts
numerous seminars, workshops, conferences, and graduate courses while
collaborating with several Italian universities and public research
institutions. CIdE also organizes the Summer School in Econometrics,
which has won awards every year since 1987, as well as the Nobel Prize in
Econometrics.
