Lomonosov Moscow State University's Institute of Asian and African Countries focuses on Oriental studies. Students first get the basic MSU education and then get introduced with the culture and languages of the area they want to focus on. While learning about local facts of African or Asian countries, they also focus on economic, social, political and cultural aspects of it's society. Students at both Bachelor and Master level can chose one out of four divisions of Philology, History, and Economics and Social Studies in Oriental and African Studies.
