The New Zealand Treasury was established as a public sector organization and
New Zealand's main advisor on economic and financial policies. The main role
of the New Zealand Treasury is to  improve and develop economic
performances in the country while implementing processes that will better
manage scare resources. The treasury also provides advice to the Crown, and
also manages and monitors its affairs.Â
