In 1982 the Nueva Granada Military University (UMNG) was established as a
national public academic institution in Bogotá, Colombia. More than 22,900
undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students are enrolled in the 8
faculties which comprise UMNG . Programs concerning engineering, economic
sciences, law, medicine, and education are among the most prestigious at the
institution.Â
