Panjab University

In 1882 Panjab University (PU) was established as a public academic institution in India. PU has more than 75 research and teaching departments, as well as 15 centers located at the main campus in Chandigarh. In 2013 PU was ranked as the best university in the nation by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
