The University of Aveiro was established in 1973 as a foundation
university located in Aveiro, Portugal. More than 12,600 bachelor's,
master's, and doctoral students are enrolled in the 15 departments at the
university. Programs concerning environment and planning, mathematics and
chemistry, geosciences, languages, civil and mechanical engineering, as well
as economics and educations are amongst the most reputed at the University
