University of Bamberg

The University of Bamberg is both the newest and one of the oldest universities in Bavaria. The University of Bamberg is a mid-size University with an academic profile clearly rooted in the humanities, social and economic sciences, human sciences and application-oriented computer sciences.  The university is mainly located in a more than 1000 year-old Town, declared in the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage Sites (1993). As an international centre, it is committed to the academic exchange of ideas and it promotes a multicultural environment with the exchange programs and partnerships with foreign institutions.
