The University of Bucharest was established in 1864 as a public academic
institution in Bucharest, Romania. More than 32,000 international and
Romanian students are enrolled in the twenty-two faculties at the University
of Bucharest , which offers excellent bachelor's and master's degrees. The
university is the second oldest modern institution in the country and has
been ranked as one of the world's top 700 universities.
