University of Ferrara

Established in 1391, the University of Ferrara is considered a premier academic institution in the northern Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Approximately 12,000 students are enrolled in the eight faculties of the university, with the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Humanities being the most popular. Furthermore, the Directory Committee for the Evaluation of Research has ranked the university as the best school in Italy for applied research.
