University of Ljubljana

The university promotes basic, applied and developmental research pursuing high quality and ethical criteria in scientific fields and art. It educates top scientists, artists and professionals to lead a sustainable development. The university promotes interdisciplinary studies and exchange of achievements in science and art with the purpose of contributing to the transfer of knowledge between students and users. The university includes 157 national research programs, 230 basic projects, 126 applied projects and 120 targeted research programs. Thanks to the projects, around 36 post-doctoral researchers and more than 600 young researchers are trained.
