Established in 1992, the University of Malaysia, Sarawak (UNIMAS) is the eight university that was founded after Malaysia's declaration of Vision 2020. QS World University Rankings has ranked UNIMAS as the 165th best university in Asia. Currently UNIMAS has been categorized into eight faculties, seven prestigious centers, and three innovative research institutes.
