University of Malaysia, Terengganu

The University of Malaysia, Terengganu was established in 1979 and has become the center for oceanography and maritime development and research. The public university is located on an urban campus with six faculties specializing in fields such as Science and Technology, Management and Economics, Agrotechnology and Food Science, as well as Social Development. The prestigious chancellor, Sultanah Nur Zahirah, is also the Queen of Malaysia.   umt
