The University of Mons, founded in 2009, is a Belgian university located in
the city of Mons.聽The university was established by merging the University
of Mons-Hainaut聽and聽the聽E ngineering Faculty of Mons聽in order to
create an exceptional high research and education institution. Although
the聽University of Mons is amongst the smallest in the country, with
approximately 6,000 Belgian and international students, the six faculties at
the university offer intensive and specialized courses in economics,
sciences, architecture, management and medicine.聽
