University of Nigeria

In 1955 the University of Nigeria (UNN) was established as a public federal university in Nsukka, Nigeria. UNN is the first land-grant academic institution in Africa and is known for being one the top five universities in the country. More than 36,000 Nigerian and international students are enrolled in the 102 departments and 15 faculties at UNN. Prominent studies at UNN include arts, science, technology, environmental studies, law, and medical science.
