University of Oregon

The University of Oregon was established in 1876 as a public research institution. It has been ranked as a Tier 1 RU/VH university by the Carnegie Foundation as an institution with extremely high research activity, and is one of only 108 universities in the nation to receive such a prestigious classification. The University of Oregon also has several graduate programs that are among the top in the nation, such as Education, Business, Psychology, Physics, Sustainable Design, and Biology.
