The University of Orléans is a public French academic institution which
was founded in 1960, in the Academy of Orléans and Tours. The university is
known for its broad range of academic programs, particularly the disciplines
of technology, observatory science, and engineering. Nearly 16,000 national
and international students are enrolled full time for courses rich in
research, training and vocation.
