University of Sassari

In 1562 the University of Sassari was founded as a state-supported academic institution in Sassari, Italy. Approximately 18,000 Italian and international students are enrolled in the 11 faculties at the institution. Prominent fields of study at the university include arts, law, pharmacy, architecture, economics and business, as well as mathematics and foreign languages.
