The University of Sheffield (US) was first established in 1905 in South
Yorkshire, England as a public academic institution. Approximately 27,000
undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students are enrolled in the 5
faculties concerning arts, engineering, medicine, pure and social sciences.
US is an original red brick university and is also a distinguished member
of the Russell Group for intensive research institutions.Â
