Vancouver Island University

Vancouver Island University (VIU) was founded in 1969 in British Columbia, Canada as a a public academic institution. Canadian and international undergraduate students occupy the four main campuses of the university. The dedicated students are enrolled in courses that focus on disciplines such as business, tourism and hospitality, humanities, science and technology, and health and human services. Vancouver Island University offers multiple international programs and has partnerships with institutions across the globe. Aboriginal involvement in university structure and activities  is also of great importance to VIU.
