The Department of Economics at Deakin University is organising the 2nd Macro Development Workshop in Melbourne, Australia from 22-23 August 2024.
This annual workshop, started in 2023, aims to bring together researchers interested in macro-level development issues to share and discuss ideas, present research, and network with others who have similar interests.
The 2024 annual meeting will take place in Melbourne's Central Business District.
Keynote Speaker
We are delighted to announce that Professor Francisco Buera from Washington University in St. Louis will present the keynote address.
Call for Papers
Full papers or extended abstracts in any area related to macro development are invited. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome. Please submit papers by email to macrodev.annual@gmail.com. The submission deadline is 15 June 2024. We will notify acceptance by 22 June 2024.
