.... Center for Regional Development and Planning (Cedeplar) at the Federal
University of Minas Gerais was established in 1967 as a an institute of
the university in order to house information, research, and studies for
the diverse field of economics. Cedeplar has also incorporated
disciplines regarding development, planning, and demography into its
academic and research efforts.Â
