Founded in 1990 in Concepción, it is well recognized thanks to the high academic quality, the prestigious academic community and the leadership spirit and entrepreneurship in the faculty. In 1997 the MBA was created in order to improve the skills of managers of the region and lead them to perfection. Years later, in 2001 the Center for Executives Education was founded to offer diplomas and courses in the field of business and management. Research is one of the priorities of the faculty, therefore it has created four centres: Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Centre for Economics and Business, Global Entrepreneurship Research Centre and the Centre for Business Studies for the Women.
